Savoring Science will be begin at 5:30 pm at the MOST, hors d’oeuvres from Lemongrass and Bistro Éléphant will be served along with beer and wine tasting as guests also bid at a silent auction, at 6:15 pm there will be a live auction of fine wines from around the world and at 7:30 pm guests will be escorted across the street to Lemongrass and Bistro Éléphant for a dinner of international cuisine.

Some of Paul's many credits include: opening for Jay Leno, Jackie Mason, Phyllis Diller, Soupy Sales, Jethro Tull, Lou Reed and Cheap Trick, performing with Howie Mandell, Don Rickles, Paul Reiser, Larry Miller, and Rick Overton, and has been performer at some of the top comedy clubs throughout the country. He was also the Musical Director and a Comedian/Actor/Writer for Rascal's Comedy Hour with such guests as Sam Kinison, Eddie Murphy, Rosie O'Donnell, and Rodney Dangerfield.

“Graduate Painting,” a collection of work by graduate painting students in SU’s College of Visual and Performing Arts (VPA), will kick off a new season of exhibitions at XL Projects, the college’s venue at 307–313 S. Clinton St., Syracuse. The show, which runs Sept. 2–27, is free and open to the public. A reception will be held Thursday, Sept. 17, from 6–8 p.m. as part of Syracuse’s citywide art open Third Thursday (Th3). Regular exhibition hours are Wednesday-Sunday, 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
The exhibition will feature large paintings and installations by first-year graduate students Rachel Van Pelt, Jave Yoshimoto and Annie Ryerson; second-year graduate students Joey Reyes, Daina Mattis, Alex Schmitz and Mike Berlant; and third-year graduate students Jessica Sharpe, Gwendolyn Reyes and Jon Lee.
