Mix It Up! Youth Art Classes: Session I

Expand your child’s artistic horizons with this four-week class! Students will explore ‘ways to play with clay,’ making this class one that you won’t want to miss. We will also build sculptures using a variety of materials, experiment with color and sketch in the galleries for inspiration. Classes are held in the Art Zone in the lower level of the Museum.

See up-close some examples of African folk art and explore the Everson’s ceramic collection to view African ancestral figures and pots. Bob Marley is one of the hottest and most sought-after comedians in the country. He has been featured in his own special on Comedy Central and is one of the few comics to do the complete late- night TV circuit: “The Late Show” with David Letterman, “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno, “Late Night” with Conan O’Brien and “The Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson and Craig Kilborn. Marley has also appeared in several films, including cult favorites Boondock Saints I & II as Detective Greenly.
